Ms. Ednah Chebet Chepkwony

Mr. Edna Chebet Chepkwony is a seasoned Education Administration and Management specialist with more than 20 years experience in leadership, public service management, and education policy implementation. She has served at both county and national levels, providing strategic direction in governance, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement. She held senior leadership positions in the County Government of Kericho, including County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Public Service Management and for Education, Youth Affairs, Sports, Culture & Social Services. In these roles, she spearheaded reforms that modernized service delivery, strengthened education systems, mainstreamed gender policies, and enhanced public sector governance. She holds a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University, a Diploma in Education Management from the Kenya Education Management Institute, and is pursuing a Master of Education in Management at Egerton University. She has also undertaken advanced training in Strategic Leadership, Corporate Governance, and Resource Mobilization. Before joining county leadership, she was a long-serving Principal in leading secondary schools.
