The Authority is this week marking the Customer Service Week, 2025, at the head office as well as across all the regional offices in Garissa, Mombasa, Nakuru, Eldoret, and Kisumu.
The Customer Service Week is an annual worldwide celebration where organizations take time to not only reflect on the quality of services offered to their key stakeholders but also recognize the important role that frontline staff play, and reenergize their customer care teams and professionals.
This year’s theme for the Customer Service Week is Mission Possible; a confirmatory statement that reminds professionals that it is possible to offer satisfactory customer service through decreased response time in a prompt, polite, professional, and personalized manner.
At the Authority, the importance of excellent customer service is emphasized through its core values of integrity, professionalism, quality service, teamwork, and diversity and inclusivity which guide the conduct of all its staff members.
At the climax of the celebration, PBORA members of staff cut a cake in honour of frontline teams to highlight their hard work and dedication to the mission of the organization.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Manager for Corporate Communication, Mr. Richard Chesos, urged the team to continue upholding the highest standards of customer service.
“A time like this is crucial for us as a public organization to truly reflect on how well we are serving our clients. In whatever we do and whichever interactions we have with our stakeholders, let us always remain faithful to our foundational values of professionalism, integrity, and quality service because we owe it to the taxpayers,” he said.
Mr. Chesos called upon clients of the Authority to freely give their feedback on their experience with the services offered noting that it is only through genuine feedback that the team can make necessary improvement on customer service.
