Dr. Kiptoo graces the launch of Chalan Foundation

The Chalan Foundation was formally launched on November 8, 2025, in a colourful ceremony held at the Nairobi Serena Hotel. The event was officiated by the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Hon. Aden Duale, who served as the Guest of Honour, and was attended by a distinguished gathering that included the Principal Secretary for Internal Security and National Administration, Dr. Raymond Omollo, and the Director General of the Public Benefit Organizations Regulatory Authority (PBORA), Dr. Laxmana P. Kiptoo, PhD., OGW, among other dignitaries.

Founded in 2013 by Mrs. Margaret Koskei, the Chalan Foundation is a Kenyan public benefit organisation dedicated to empowering vulnerable youth across the country through life skills development, education access, psychosocial support, and economic empowerment. The Foundation's Patron is the Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff.

Dr. Kiptoo was accompanied to the event by Ms. Mercy Soy of the PBORA Legal Department.
